November, 2016: Rostislav S. Karpov, Head of Research of Cardiology Research Institute, was granted a title of Honorary Citizen of the Tomsk Region

June, 2015: For the great personal contribution to the development of cardiology and medicine, the Governor of the Tomsk Region Sergey A. Zhvachkin awarded Rostislav S. Karpov (Director of Cardiology Research Institute, Full Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Chief Cardiologist of the Siberian Federal District) with Tomsk Glory Order, Vladimir M. Shipulin (Head of the Department of Cardiovascular Surgery, Cardiology Research Institute) with Medal for Achievements, and Aleksey N. Repin (Head of the Department of Cardiovascular Rehabilitation) with Certificate of Merit of Tomsk Region.

February, 2015: Victor I. Varvarenko, Cand. Sci. (Med.), Senior Research Fellow of the Department of Interventional Radiology was granted a Russian Federation Government Prize 2014 in Science and Technology and received a title of Laureate of Russian Federation Government Prize in Science and Technology.

October, 2014: Yuri B. Lishmanov, Deputy Director for Research of Cardiology Research Institute, was granted a title of Honored Scientist.

June, 2014: Evgeny V. Krivoshchekov, Leading Research Fellow, was granted a title of Honored Doctor of the Russian Federation.

April, 2014: Vladimir V. Evtushenko, Surgeon of the Department of Cardiovascular Surgery, was granted a Laureate Diploma of the State Duma Prize of the Tomsk Region in nomination of Natural Sciences.

September, 2013: Rostislav S. Karpov was granted a Prize of the Russian Society of Cardiology in nomination for fundamental studies in the field of cardiology.

June 2013: Alexander Y. Fedorov, Chief of the Department of Radiography and Tomography, Chairman of the Primary Trade Union Organization of the institute, was granted a Degree III Award Pin for Healthcare Workers Trade Union for significant contribution to protection of labour and employment rights and interests of healthcare workers.

February, 2012: Evgeny V. Krivoshchekov, Pediatric Cardiac Surgeon was granted a title of ‘Person of the Year 2011’ in nomination of ‘Selfless Devotion’.

November, 2011: A team of the Department of Emergency Cardiology received Certificate of Participant of Acute Coronary Syndrome Register ‘Record’, a Laureate of National Award ‘Purple Heart’.

October, 2011: the Trade Union Organization of Cardiology Research Institute was recognized as one of the best primary trade union organizations of the region and was granted a Certificate of Merit for longstanding fruitful work on protection of labour and employment rights and interests of workers.

June, 2011: Vladimir M. Shipulin, MD, Dr. Sci. (Med.), Professor, Head of the Department of Cardiovascular Surgery of Cardiology Research Institute, became Laureate of the Prize n.a. Elena E. Litasova, Honored Director of E. N. Meshalkin National Medical Research Center in Novosibirsk, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences, for outstanding contribution to the development of Pediatric Cardiac Surgery and Neonatal Surgery, the organization and development of cardiac surgery services in Cardiology Research Institute

April, 2011: The presentation, authored by I. V. Kologrivova, T. E. Suslova , O. A. Koshelskaya , and I. V. Vinnitskaya and titled ‘Subpopulations of helper T-lymphocytes in patients with carbohydrate metabolism disorders and hypertension’, triggered great interest and was recognized as the best one in the Contest for Young Scientists, which occurred in a framework of the 5th All-Russian Science-and-Practice Conference with International Attendance titled ‘Fundamental Aspects of Adaptive Processes’.

2010: The team of the Department of Emergency Cardiology was granted a Laureate Diploma of the Tomsk Region Contest for excellence in the field of education, science, healthcare, and culture contributing to strengthening prestige of Tomsk science and education in the country and worldwide.

November, 2010: Pavel I. Lukyanenok, MD, Cand. Sci. (Med.), Senior Research Fellow of the Department of Radiology and Tomography, Head of MRI Laboratory, was granted title of honor ‘Honored Worker of Science and Education’ by the commission of the Russian Academy of Natural History.

2010: Vyacheslav M. Zhukov, Deputy Director of Cardiology Research Institute was granted a second-class medal of the Order of Merit for the Motherland for professional achievements and longstanding dedicated work by the Edict of the President of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Medvedev.

2010: Aleksey V. Evtushenko, Chief of the Department of Cardiovascular Surgery, was granted a title of honor ‘Honored Doctor of the Russian Federation’ for achievements in the field of healthcare and longstanding dedicated work.

April, 2010: National Prize in Cardiology ‘Purple Heart’ was awarded in Moscow. Rostislav S. Karpov, Director of Cardiology Research Institute, was granted a title of honor ‘Maitre of Cardiology’.

April, 2010: The Edict of the President of the Russian Federation No. 438 on awarding state decorations was signed on April 11. Professor Sergey V. Popov, Deputy Director for Research and Clinical Work of Cardiology Research Institute, Head of the Department of Interventional Arrhythmology, was granted a title of Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation for achievements in science.

2010: Vladimir M. Shipulin, Professor, Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation, Head of the Department of Cardiovascular Surgery, became a finalist of the annual Tomsk Region Contest ‘Person of the Year 2009’ in nomination ‘Scientist of the Year 2009’.

March, 2010: Rostislav S. Karpov, Full Member of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences, Director of Cardiology Research Institute, was granted an annual prize in the field of science and technology for completing the works on creation and implementation of cutting edge methods of diagnostics, treatment, and rehabilitation of patients suffering chronic heart failure of different genesis in the Russian Federation.

2009: Vladimir M. Shipulin, Professor, Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation, Head of the Department of Cardiovascular Surgery, was granted a first-class Medal of the Order of Merit for the Motherland for outstanding professional achievements, contribution to medical science, and longstanding fruitful work.

2009: In April, 2009, the Siberian Federal Arrhythmology Center was granted a national prize ‘Purple Heart’ as the Best Prevention and Treatment Facility in nomination of Medical Institution of the Year for unique achievements and developments in the field of treatment of cardiovascular diseases. Sergey V. Popov, Head of the Department of Interventional Arrhythmology was granted the Purple Heart Award in nomination of ‘The Best Cardiologist of the Year’.

2008: Vladimir M. Shipulin, Professor, Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation, Head of the Department of Cardiovascular Surgery, was granted one of the most respected awards in medicine, a Prize n.a. A. N. Bakuleva ‘For Outstanding Service in Cardiac Surgery’ for fundamental scientific studies, development of new research areas, outstanding personal contribution to advances of national cardiovascular surgery.

2008: Evgeny V. Krivoshchekov, Senior Research Fellow of the Department of Cardiovascular Surgery, became a Laureate of a Prize n.a. E. E. Litasova , Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences, for outstanding contribution to the development of cardiovascular surgery, development and implementation of new methods of diagnostics and treatment of congenital pathology in children.

2007: Aleksey V. Evtushenko, Chief of the Department of Cardiovascular Department, became a winner of the annual Tomsk Administration Contest ‘Person of the Year 2006’ in nomination of ‘Doctor of the Year 2006’.

2006: The Tomsk school of cardiac surgeons, created by Professor Vladimir M. Shipulin, received a grant of the President of the Russian Federation for state support of leading scientific schools.

2005: Sergey V. Popov, Deputy Director for Research and Clinical Work, Head of the Department of Interventional Arrhythmology, was granted a title ‘The Siberian of the Year’ in a framework of the Internet project organized by the Foundation for Support of Information Technologies ‘ XXI-Century Siberia’ and drew ahead of Dmitri Hvorostovsky and Maria Sharapova in the competition race.

2005: Rostislav S. Karpov, Director of Cardiology Research Institute, was granted the highest public award of the Russian Federation, commemorative medal of the encyclopedia ‘The Best People of Russia’ for the pioneering research in the field of cardiac diseases and the development of new methods of treatment as well as for the enormous activity on implementation of new organizational forms in community care.

2004: Aleksy Merunko, Leading Research Fellow and Professor of the Department of Pediatric Surgery at Siberian State Medical University, became a winner of the annual Tomsk Region Administration ‘Person of the Year 2003’ in nomination of ‘The Best Doctor of the Year 2003’.
