Establishing the collection of Research Library of Cardiology Research Institute began in 1980 alongside with the opening of the institute and continued in concordance with the main directions of institute activities. The collection includes monographs, proceedings, methodological aids, extended abstracts of dissertations, national and international journals, and books in foreign languages including the collection of the Springer Verlag Publishing (Germany) donated to the institute.
Library stock possesses the unique collection of dissertations written by the scientists of Siberia and Far East and defended in the Dissertation Council of Cardiology Research Institute. Annually, the library subscribes to over 30 titles of periodicals in cardiology, internal diseases, and related branches of knowledge. Besides printed publications, readers are given access to the electronic resources including full-text versions of the scientific journals of the scientific electronic library at eLIBRARY.RU.
